A ten-year-old boy and Robby the Robot team up to prevent a supercomputer from controlling the earth from a satellite.

Four teens cast in a pilot for a "Real World" or "Survivor" type TV series end up on a hidden mesa deep in the South American jungle on which dinosaurs and cavemen still live. They have been separated from the shows producers and are lost and stranded. These four, who start out contentious competitors, must grow up fast and learn to trust one another if they are to make it out alive. By the end, they have all learned something about themselves, and emerge from their experiences stronger and better people. They have also agreed to keep the secrets of the Lost World -- to throw away their videotapes and not to reveal the existence of the prehistoric wonders of the hidden land.

An underwater earthquake in the Sargasso sea yields up the eggs of a long-extinct sea monster. Once hatched, the monster's offspring sustain themselves by sucking the life forces of various unlucky human land dwellers. Returning to uniform, McHale, assisted by Penelope Carpenter (Messing), his lovely, fun-loving First Lieutenant, guides his crazy crew of misfits through a series of madcap maneuvers that has the enemy scrambling for cover and the audience roaring with delight!
