Grace fears Marilyn's wrath for breaking her beloved figurine. It's an accident Grace opts to hide, but she's hard-pressed to hide her guilt. Elsewhere, Karen's stepdaughter returns, prompting a bittersweet reunion. Marilyn: Blythe Danner.
Jeff Goldblum guest stars as a spiteful magnate out to bankrupt Karen over a high-school affront that scarred his psyche. Also, a secret emerges in the life of Will's lover Vince that, unfortunately, becomes known to Grace and Jack.
Lily Tomlin guest stars as Will's shrewd boss, hosting a posh party to size up associates who are anxious for a full partnership in the firm. At the fete, the competition turns testy, and Grace winds up schmoozing with the boss's spouse.
George adopts his girlfriend's verbal shorthand; Jerry suspects a comic motive behind his dentist's conversion to Judaism; double-daters Kramer and Mickey don't know whose date is whose. Beth: Debra Messing. Tim: Bryan Cranston. George: Jason Alexander.
Tony winner Patti LuPone (“Evita”) guest stars as herself in a plot that centers on Will's breakup with Vince and Jack's idolatry of LuPone. Also, vengeful Woolley (Jeff Goldblum) is back with a despicable new scheme to ruin Karen.
Luke Perry guest stars as a bird-watcher who Jack sees as a “hot gay nerd.” Also, Grace has a hot date with a new beau (Edward Burns), and an uncomfortable Will is talked into coming along so Grace doesn't get out of control.
A pastry chef frosts Karen, who wants the fellow fired by Will. Trouble is, he's attracted to the guy and his concoctions. Also, Grace's new beau (Edward Burns) is humbled by Jack, who, in turn, gets a dressing-down from Grace.
Three's a crowd for boozing nights on the town with Karen, Grace and her chum (Leigh-Allyn Baker), a troubled wife who lets her hair down far too long. Also, Will invests in a house at a “big, hot, gay getaway” in upstate New York.
Sharon Stone plays a noted shrink, who gives short shrift to Will and full attention to Grace, an "interesting" case study for the therapist's new book. In another storyline, eyeglasses redefine reality for Karen.
Stacy Keach guest stars as an acting coach, who's taken over Jack's class and adopted the McFarland Method: "acting is attracting." Also, Blythe Danner reappears as Will's mom, getting very tipsy in a tête-à-tête with Grace.
