I'm worried about Irving on Sleepy Hollow? Is he going to be OK?  — Heather
Actually, it turns out that selling your soul to the Horseman of War isn't all bad. "There's part of signing that contract that does work in his favor," executive producer Len Wiseman says. "As dark as that is, there's something in the offer that's quite hard to turn down. It is something that his character is going to have to struggle with because the temptation is not an easy one to turn his back on."

About a Boy Star and Former One-Season Wonder David Walton Finally Gets His Second Act

NBC's hit comedy About a Boy returns Tuesday at 9:30/8:30c, and no one is more excited for the show's second season than star David Walton. After all, this is his first time.

"This is my first Season 2 experience, and I really like it," he tells TVGuide.com. "It's just nice to be employed."

Despite his talent, good looks and charm, Walton is quite familiar with the alternative of not having a gig. Over the past decade, he has starred on six failed network TV shows (Cracking Up, Heist, Quarterlife, 100 Questions, Perfect Couples and Bent) before finding success on...read more

About a Boy: Should Fiona and Will Ever Get Together?

Will they or won't they? It's an age-old question that has become synonymous with equally lovable and frustrating TV duos like David and Maddie, Sam and Diane, and Ross and Rachel. Will About a Boy's Will and Fiona soon join the ranks?

Exclusive About a Boy Sneak Peek: Will's Advice for Marcus Blows Up in His Face

About a Boy's Will (David Walton) may not know much (read: anything) about parenting, but he sure knows a lot about the ladies.

So it only makes sense that on Tuesday's new episode (9/8c, NBC), Marcus (Benjamin Stockham) asks for Will's help when he wants to ... read more

Weekend Review: About a Boy, Fisher Sneak Peeks, Downton Finale

This week's gold-medal question: Can NBC reverse its spotty track record when it comes to using the ratings boost of the Olympics to launch new programs? (Remember the Summer 2012 debacle when the network interrupted the flow of London's Closing Ceremony to inflict Animal Practice on an unwilling captive audience?)

The news is better this weekend, during the closing nights of the Games. The comedies getting a sneak peek are considerably more entertaining than Animal Practice — what wouldn't be? — and they won't air until after that night's Olympics packages are finished.

First up is NBC's best new comedy of the season (including the star-driven disappointments that flopped on Thursdays this fall): About a Boy, airing Saturday night at approximately 11/10c before moving to its regular time period next Tuesday at 9/8c. This charmingly offbeat ... read more
