The Mikado Project was screened at the Asian Pacific Film Festival on Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at the DGA Theatre in Hollywood. This film, a musical/comedy, is by Chil Kong based on a stage play by Ken Narasaki and Doris Baizley. This creative piece follows the struggles of a theatre company and its actors who try to keep the theatre afloat by putting on Gilbert & Sullivan's 'the Mikado.'
Though the sound & editing could have been smoother, the story was presented
well. All the actors connected well and delivered a good performances: Especially notable are Tamlyn Tomita and Erin Quill were charming while Rizwan Manji created a humorfilled & endearing Sam.
