Walt looks pretty sickly in the Breaking Bad flash-forward. Will we get more of those scenes in the final episodes? — Tom
ADAM: Probably not many. "Look to last year for the shape of [the season]," creator Vince Gilligan says. (Season 5 opened with a flash-forward, but didn't return to it again until Sunday's premiere.) However, as noted by Walt's return to chemotherapy, his health is of supreme interest to Gilligan & Co. "I don't know if lung cancer is ever cured," Gilligan says coyly. "It's a very insidious thing and you never know when it's going to rear its ugly head. We always kept that in mind and we want to pay off that initial story engine."
Will Abby and David get back together on Scandal this season? — Jones
NATALIE: Things are definitely not over between Abby and David...
With Mistress-gate picking up steam when Scandal returns, Cyrus Beane (Jeff Perry) could be in store for another heart attack. That's because the White House will be on full damage control mode after someone outed Olivia (Kerry Washington) as Fitz's (Tony Goldwyn) mistress. (Get more scoop on that here.) How will this new scandal affect Fitz's chances of staying in the White House? TVGuide.com turned to executive producer Shonda Rhimes to get scoop on what's in store for OPA in Season 3:
Professional fixer Olivia Pope will find herself on the other side of a major, well, Scandal when ABC's hit drama returns for Season 3 this fall.
In the season finale, Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Olivia (Kerry Washington) called it quits once again after learning of each other's misdeeds. (Remember when POTUS killed someone?) But in the closing moments of the episode, as Olivia went out for a run, she was bombarded by reporters trying to get an interview with the First Mistress. The question remains: Who leaked Olivia's name to the press?
The seemingly infallible Olivia Pope & Associates were wrong!
Last week on Scandal, we discovered that Osborne (Kurt Fuller), the head of the CIA, was not the mole even though someone had Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) set him up to look like the mole before killing him. Naturally, this means Olivia (Kerry Washington) and her associates were actually wrong about him being the mole, and their suspicion of him could have led to his untimely death. How will they rectify this? TVGuide.com turned to Darby Stanchfield, who plays Olivia's trusted investigator Abby Whelen, to get the scoop on what lengths OPA will go to find out who the mole really is and how that will put them in danger. Plus: Stanchfield teases the future for Abby and David...
The devil's in the building!
Hollis Doyle (Gregg Henry), the man responsible for single-handedly ruining Quinn Perkins' (Katie Lowes) life, will become an OPA client during this week's Scandal (Thursday, 10/9c, ABC). Naturally, Quinn won't be the happiest person with this decision. Will Hollis' proximity cause her to finally snap? Or will she stick to being a gladiator in a suit? TVGuide.com turned to Lowes to get the scoop:
