BB's Hurricane Howie Blows Out to Sea

Howie Gordon, Big Brother 7: All-Stars

Jedi wannabe Howie Gordon found out the hard way that on Big Brother 7: All-Stars, the power of evil can be strong, as his apprentice and this week's Head of Household, Chicken George, went over to the dark side and helped get him evicted. TVGuide.com spoke to Hurricane Howie — who is currently residing in the sequester house and isn't privy to any info about what he didn't see on the show, or what has happened since — about his latest Big Brother stay. Sadly, Howie, who had a minor scuffle with Mike Boogie on his way out the door, wasn't the same chipper fella we talked to pre-Al read more

BB KO's Birthday Boy Kaysar

Kaysar Ridha, Big Brother 7: All-Stars

The third time was not the charm for Kaysar Ridha. Though he is often called one of the greatest strategizers in the CBS reality contest's history, the charmer was evicted twice during Season 6 and ejected from Big Brother 7: All-Stars last Thursday — on his birthday, no less. TVGuide.com spoke to Kaysar the day after he was freed, to find out who still can't pronounce his name, what he thinks of James' betrayal, and if hearing the catchphrase "What up, Kaysar?" ever gets annoying. TVGuide.com: So you got kicked out on your birthday, but at least you got to eat cake.Kaysar Ridha: I got three cakes — one with the producers, one with my family, and then someone dropped by to give me another one. BB 5 Alum Di's Trying on All-Stars

Diane Henry, Big Brother 7: All-Stars

Last Thursday Diane Henry became the third and final alumna of Season 5 to be eliminated from the Big Brother 7: All-Stars house. The 24-year-old had engaged in a "showmance" with winner Drew her first time on the series and landed in third place, but this time she couldn't find people to ally with. TVGuide.com caught up with Diane to ask about the Mr. & Mrs. Smith rumor, Mike Boogie's crush and if she's still angry at read more

I'm worried about Big ...

Will Kirby, Big Brother

Question: I'm worried about Big Brother: All-Stars. Half of the proposed candidates are unintelligent goofs just added to the list for their good looks or idiotic behavior. I'm hoping that people will choose to vote for some of the interesting, competitive and intelligent (albeit devious) players from the past (i.e., Will, James, Kaysar, Danielle, Janelle). Any chance you can post this, so that I can get your readers on my side and start a revolution for a reality show that doesn't have to rely on the village idiots for its success? Do you think this is even possible? Answer: Consider it done, for what it's worth. But really, how do you distinguish the idiots on this ridiculous show? (For the record, you're not exactly barking up the tree of a Big Brother fan. Kind of the contrary.) I can think of few phrases more oxymoronic than "Big Brother: All-Stars." What a pathetic collection of narcissistic never-were has-beens. But taking it at face value, my main puzzlement is why the show ... read more

Also: A Last Look at Model's Joanie...

Joanie Dodds, America's Next Top Model

Also be sure to check out the Insider Q&As with Top Model champ Danielle and runner-up Jade. Perhaps no contestant on this season's America's Next Top Model suffered more for her art than Joanie Dodds, the snaggle-toothed 24-year-old who spent a day — literally, a day! — in the dentist's chair getting her smile straightened out. But although the results were stunning, she still finished second. Is she bitter? Angry? Ready to bare her fangs? Hardly. She remains the easygoing Grace Kelly look-alike who charmed the judges with her good humor and dazzling presence. TVGuide.com: In your first meeting read more

Yoga Guru Keeps His Cool to Win Survivor

Aras Baskauskas, Survivor: Panama

Aras Baskauskas may have butted heads with his Casaya tribe mates early on, but his athletic prowess and true competitive nature helped him survive 39 days in Panama by outwitting, outplaying and outlasting 15 other castaways to walk away as the sole Survivor. The 24-year-old Santa Monica-based yoga instructor was awarded the ultimate prize Sunday night as CBS' Survivor: Panama---Exile Island concluded its 16-week run. TVGuide.com sat down with the newly minted — albeit exhausted — millionaire the day after his big win to get the scoop on his "wonderful experience" in Panama, how he'll spend his winnings, and his latest business venture to keep America warm with his new brand line of winter hats. TVGuide.com: Congratulations! How did it feel to wake up this morning a millionaire?Aras Baskauskas: [Laughs] read more

Survivor's Shane Smoked by Betrayal

Shane Powers, Survivor: Panama

Every reality show has a contestant fans love to hate, and for CBS' Survivor: Panama — Exile Island (tonight at 8 pm/ET), Shane Powers willingly accepts the title. As he provided a wealth of comic relief for castaways and viewers alike, the Los Angelino took Survivor fans on an emotional roller coaster as he struggled with a severe nicotine addiction and dealt with the anxiety of being away from his son. TVGuide.com sat down with Shane the day after his elimination to chat about the shocking betrayal by his "allies," the fate of his acid-wash denim shorts, and his voting strategy going into Sunday's season finale.

TVGuide.com: What's the reaction been like since your elimination episode aired?
Shane Powers:
It's been positive. The [reaction] I cared most about was my son's, and read more

Fire Dancer Burned by Survivor Alliance

Courtney Marit, Survivor: Panama

Falling victim to her tribe mates' harsh personal feelings about her, Courtney Marit was the 11th person to pack her bags and say goodbye on CBS' Survivor: Panama—Exile Island (Thursdays at 8 pm/ET). Saying that the vote to oust her was "shocking," the California-based performer realized that her status as a potential threat going into the final two resulted in the decision to send her home. TVGuide.com grilled the former Casaya member about her finale voting strategy, her on-screen portrayal and her honest take on the remaining survivors.

TVGuide.com: What has reaction been like since your elimination episode aired?
Courtney Marit:
My family is proud of me. I did the best I could and they've [provided] full support. I got a barrage of calls from my friends. I live in an artists community — we're all artists read more

Bruce Is a True Survivor!

Bruce Kanegai, Survivor: Panama

On last week's episode of CBS' Survivor: Panama—Exile Island (Thursdays at 8 pm/ET), Bruce Kanegai had to be taken off the island for emergency care. Though he survived a machete wound to the face earlier in the season, he was done in by severe constipation that was nearly life-threatening. The jury is still out on whether he'll return to Survivor's jury — the self-dubbed "Mr. Miyagi" is keeping mum, though we may find out on tonight's episode — but the sweet 58-year-old was happy to discuss just about everything else that happened during his stay. TVGuide.com: I'm glad to hear that you are now OK. Bruce Kanegai: When I saw [last week's episode], I relived that whole thing again. It actually all started about 12 days before, and a lot of people didn't realize I was hurting. I played hard in all the reward c read more
