Daniel Baldwin in The Closer by Karen Neal/TNT
Cheers to Daniel Baldwin for his arresting guest shot on The Closer. TNT's drama made up for its recent slight of Paul Michael Glaser, doing right by another cop-show vet. The Homicide: Life on the Street alum impressively took command of his role as a sheriff's department muckety-muck who tried to cover up his rapist son's crimes. Celebrity Rehab refugee Baldwin may or may not have cleaned up his act personally, but it's good to see his acting is still impeccable. No awards system is perfect, and the TCA Awards is no exception. But arriving two days after the often-inexplicable results of the Emmy nominations, Saturday night's low-key, good-time TCA Awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton was a welcome course correction to several especially egregious Emmy oversights. (And, lo and behold, nary a mention of Boston Legal anywhere.)First up: Michael C. Hall, ignored by the Emmys but cited by the TCA for Individual Achievement in Drama, for his mesmerizing performance in Showtime's Dexter as a serial killer targeting Miami's lowest forms of criminal life. (Other contenders in this category included Friday Night Lights' Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton, also shamefully snubbed at the Emmys.)Friday Night Lights, a near shutout at the Emmys despite its status as a first-year critics darling (and recipient of Peabody and AFI awards), was later named Outstanding New Program. (The field also included 30 Rock, Dexter, Heroes and Ugly Bet...

When Wendy the Snapple Lady (aka Wendy Kaufman) began e-mailing Ask Ausiello imploring him to keep sipping Snapple, we at TVGuide.com developed a soft spot for this spunky spokeswoman. Here, Wendy gives us the skinny on her fellow Fit Club members and her fabulous life as a TV sub-lebrity.
TVGuide.com: It was great seeing you answer fan letters again on VH1's I Love the '90s. How'd that happen?Wendy the Snapple Lady: It was so awesome. Honestly, I had been so out of the loop with Snapple. I had lost an entire generation of young kids who had no idea where Snapple came from and how it was put on the map. All of my kids who grew up with me are now working at VH1. Then, they came back to me and asked me about Cel
