Inside Sleepy Hollow's Shocking Season Finale

The end is nigh for Sleepy Hollow's first season. And it looks extremely...busy. It's a stinging-cold December morning at Wilmington, North Carolina's EUE/Screen Gems Studios. In the nearby woods, a stuntwoman wearing a low-cut, corseted frock is being pulled through the air on a thick cord and dropped nose-first onto a safety mat. "Can she be yanked even harder?" director Ken Olin (thirtysomething) asks the crew member at the other end of the rope. Yes, she certainly can. Yards away...read more

The bombing massacre of a Jaffa leaders summit not only kills dozens of innocent Jaffa, but also leaves Bra'Tac (Tony Amendola) clinging to life and Teal'c (Christopher Judge) badly injured. With his hands tied by the IOA, General Landry is unable to give Teal'c the help he asks for to hunt down the man responsible. Teal'c believing the hypocritical IOA would not sit so idle if those dead had been humans takes it upon himself to leave SG-1 and hunt down the man responsible himself. Intel leads Teal'c to believe a Jaffa leader named Arkad is behind the bombing, a step he took to try to control the Jaffa nation and deliver them to the Ori. Teal'c must wade through the seedy underworld from arms dealer to assasins to finally find the location of Arkad. With a history that runs deeper than just the battles they fought as opposing first primes, Teal'c decides to take on the role of jury and executioner. SG Command meanwhile learns that the same Jaffa leader Teal'c is hunting appears to be coordinating a massive series of bombing attacks on earth as a pawn of the Ori. Not wanting to lose the only man who may know how to stop the plans that are already in motion, SG-1 is ordered by the IOA to intercept Teal'c at all costs before he kills Arkad. The remaining members of SG-1 must decide between the life of their friend and the lives of millions at risk should the bombings succeed. watch

Stargate Star Finds Sanctuary on Sci Fi Channel

Si Fi Channel has greenlit a full 13-episode season of Sanctuary, a drama that originated online (as the first-ever hi-def Web series, no less) and stars the Stargate world's Amanda Tapping as Dr. Helen Magnus, a woman on a quest to protect "strange creatures that walk the earth." Tapping is exec-producing the TV port along with SG-1 writer-producer Damian Kindler and producer-director Martin Wood, and Sam Egan.Despite scoring this plum gig, Tapping will guest on at least several Stargate Atlantis episodes next season.Sanctuary will be the first TV series to shoot live-action actors against "virtual set pieces," à la 300 and Sin City.I've got Logan's Run now stuck in my head.
