A huge burrowing machine tunnels out of control at ferocious speed, cutting clean through to the center of the earth, to the twilight world of pellucidar. Once there, Dr. Perry (Peter Cushing) and David Innes (Doug McClure), are threatened by half-human creatures, lizard-like birds, and man-eating plants.

Richard Roundtree ("Seven") reprises his classic role as streetwise detective Shaft, this time on assigment to Ethiopia to break up a ring that is smuggling blacks to Europe to work as slaves. The third chapter in the classic "Shaft" trilogy features explosive action. Written by Oscar-nominee and Golden Globe-winner Stirling Silliphant ("In the Heat of the Night," "The Towering Inferno").

As an elaborate practical joke, eccentric millionaire Cecil Fox (Rex Harrison) pretends to be gravely ill and beckons his three former mistresses to his deathbed, but his delightfully devious scheme goes horribly awry when one of the lovely ladies is murdered. This twisty crime comedy co-stars Susan Hayward as a Texas hypochondriac, Edie Adams as a fading starlet and Capucine as a distinguished princess.

P.I. John Shaft is recruited to go undercover to break up a modern slavery ring where young Africans are lured to Paris to do chain-gang work.
