Crissy Rock

Ken Loach directs this heartrending story about Maggie (Crissy Rock), a volatile woman trying to overcome the trauma of her abusive childhood and regain custody of her four children, who have been taken into foster care. When Maggie falls in love with Paraguayan refugee Jorge (Vladimir Vega), she feels for the first time that she might have a real future, but her pregnancy leads to more tangles with unfeeling social workers.
