Leave it to Shawn and Gus to find the sharpest way possible to stick it to the vampire craze.
Last night, the perfect storm of crime fighting and pop-culture comedy that is Psych served up a bloodsucker-centric scream that flowed with bloody goodness like a severed vein. Perfectly (and misleadingly) titled "This Episode Sucks," the hour first won us over with the guest spot by Kristy Swanson, the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer, here ...

If you can spot the vampire reference in the line "Let the right ones in, buddy" — from tonight's enjoyably spoofy episode of USA Network's Psych (10/9c) — then you're in for a real treat, as Halloween is played for laughs (more often than not on purpose) on a variety of tonight's shows.
The cleverest might be Psych's guest star-studded comic mystery (titled "This Episode Sucks"), in which a body drained of blood leads Shawn and Gus to deduce a vampire is on the loose. Could said fiend be the new mystery lady in Lassiter's life? She's played by original-movie Buffy Kristy Swanson, so anything's possible. Also making ...

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman
Corey Haim's tragic death exposed widespread confusion about him and his frequent collaborator Corey Feldman, as many confessed via Twitter that they don't know which Corey is which. The two shared much in common, besides the name Corey: early roles in Stephen King projects, joint film appearances, eventual struggles with drugs, and a dual comeback attempt on the A&E show The Two Coreys. For those of us who grew up with the Coreys, there's no getting them confused. But for anyone unfamiliar with their work, here is our quick guide to the Coreys' respective careers:

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman by Andrew Eccles/A&E
Corey Haim and Corey Feldman's personal problems following their 1980s rise to fame are by now well documented. Yet in Sunday's Season 2 opener of A&E's The Two Coreys, things took an even more serious turn when each revealed having suffered sexual abuse as a teen. In a cantankerous exchange, each Corey suddenly throws barbs at the other for having gone without support from the other. Things get heated until finally Haim marches off camera. In interviews with GQ, each responds to the scene, with Feldman saying he knows who did it and got over it, and Haim essentially brushing it off. Why reveal these things now, in a reality show, of all places? Feldman claims Haim broke a mutual agreement by bringing it up on camera, while Haim says simply, "That's life in this world." What's your reaction to The Coreys' revelation? You can see more of the lost boys Sundays at 10 pm/ET. Anna DimondUse our Online Video Guide to catch up with the Coreys.

Corey Haim and Corey Feldman by Andrew Eccles/A&E
A&E has ordered a second, 10-episode season of The Two Coreys, as in Haim and Feldman. It's an interesting development if only (with the emphasis on if only) because the childhood pals and costars of one of my fave WWUTI films, The Lost Boys, were fervently feuding at the close of Season 1. In fact, producers tell the Reporter the former friends have not seen each other since, suggesting to me that neither has flipped through the bargain bin at the local FYE.
