Columbus Short Fast Facts:

A drummer since age 3, he left high school at 17 to join the percussion company Stomp.
Before breaking into acting, he worked as a choreographer and creative tour director for pop stars Britney Spears and Brandy.
Made his big-screen debut as a dancer in 2004's You Got Served; subsequently appeared in dance-themed movies Save the Last Dance 2 (2006) and Stomp the Yard (2007).
Followed up his TV debut in a 2005 episode of long-running drama ER with roles on Disney sitcom That's So Raven and NBC's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
