Dark City -- Separated from his wife Emma, amnesiac John Murdoch awakens alone in a strange hotel to learn he is wanted for a series of brutal killings but he can't remember if he did or didn't commit these murders.

A Good Man in Africa -- Politics are already strained between English imperialists and the West African government of Kinjanja, when womanizing British diplomat Morgan Leafy (Colin Friels) is caught in bed with Celia (Joanne Whalley-Kilmer), wife of corrupt Kinjanjan presidential candidate Sam Adekunle (Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr.). As punishment, Leafy is forced into bribing an official who has voted down a project that stands to make Adekunle very rich. Leafy thinks he's gotten off easy until he learns the lone holdout is none other than Kinjanja's own brick wall of integrity, Dr. Alex Murray (Connery). Meanwhile, Leafy must also contend with his absurdly stuffy boss Fanshawe (John Lithgow), Fanshawe's lusty wife (Diana Rigg) and their luscious, too friendly daughter!

Separated from his wife Emma (Academy Award and Golden Globe-winner Jennifer Connelly –"A Beautiful Mind," "Requiem for a Dream"), amnesiac John Murdoch (Rufus Sewell – "A Knight’s Tale," "The Illusionist") awakens alone in a strange hotel to learn he is wanted for a series of brutal killings but he can't remember if he did or didn't commit these murders. Indeed, most of his memories have completely vanished, and he becomes the focus of interest for both mad genius Dr. Schreber (Emmy Award and Golden Globe-winner Kiefer Sutherland – TV's '24," "Phone Booth") and sympathetic detective Frank Bumstead (Academy Award-winner and Golden Globe-nominee William Hurt – "Kiss of the Spider Woman," "Broadcast News"). Attempting to unravel the twisted riddle of his identity, Murdoch encounters a group of ominous beings known as the Strangers, shadow-like figures who have collective memory and posses the ability to stop time and alter physical reality through a process called The Tuning. Focusing their minds, they are able to change the size and shape of the material world. Murdoch manages to stay a step ahead of his adversaries as he slowly jigsaws together the puzzle of his past-bittersweet memories of his childhood, his love for Emma, and the key to the murders – while following a labyrinth leading to the Strangers' Underworld.

Alex Proyas, (THE CROW) directs this futuristic thriller about a man waking up to find he is wanted for brutal murders he doesn't remember. Haunted by mysterious beings who stop time and alter reality, he seeks to unravel the riddle of his identity.
