The crew of the Phaeton is bulking up. Clea DuVall (aka Matt Parkman's sometime partner in crime-fighting during Season 1 of Heroes) has joined the cast of Virtuality, the Fox pilot concerning the ongoing mission of Earth's first starship.DuVall will play the vessel's copilot and engineer, says the Reporter, while Jose Pablo Cantillo (Standoff) and Erik Jensen (Love Monkey) have been cast as a mathematician and the ship's navigator, respectively. Amy Madigan by Jim Spellman/WireImage.com and Clea DuVall by Mark Sullivan/WireImage.com
Amy Madigan has booked a multi-episode arc on Grey's Anatomy, sources confirm to me exclusively. The Oscar-nominated thesp and former co-star of HBO's gone-but-not-forgotten Carnivale is playing a psychiatrist who, and I'm just speculating here, may be the one to help Meredith get over her commitment issues, thus paving the way for the Mer/Der reunion Shonda Rhimes has been hyping.Meanwhile, Madigan's former Carnivale co-star, Clea DuVall, will fill the "everywoman housewife" role I teased in last week's Ask Ausiello. Her George Clooney-esque husband will be played by Jason O'Mara (Men in Trees, In Justice). I'm guessing one of them will be a patient. Both are on board for two episodes.Oh, Carnivale, how I miss thee

Greg Grunberg, Heroes
Greg Grunberg sure has come a long way since being chewed up and spit out by that whatever on Lost. Now, he's the star of his own watercooler-conversation series, NBC's Heroes (Mondays at 9 pm/ET). When Grunberg stopped by the TV Guide offices the morning after last week's episode aired, we debriefed him on the hunt for Sylar, Matt's upcoming date with a cheerleader, and what longtime pal J.J. Abrams was like as a tyke.
TVGuide.com: First, I have to say: Would that every husband could read their wives' minds!Greg Grunberg: Yeah, but be careful what you wish for. You immediately thin

CSIIs it wrong that my first thought upon seeing the dirty people who lived in an underground bunker was, "Hey, are these the Others from Lost?" Clearly I watch too much television, but I guess that's my job. I do enjoy CSI, even if I only ever get to watch it in reruns because of all the other Thursday-night stuff I'm hooked on. I have to say I was particularly intrigued by Grissom's philosophy about the existence of extraterrestrial life forces, and how, if there were anyone else out there, they would probably be smart enough to stay away from us. Very wise thought, especially considering what happened to E.T. Also, is Clea DuVall only getting cast as crazy or slightly off-kilter characters? I think she's pretty talented, I just keep seeing her play
