Will the search for the cure on The Vampire Diaries unite Elena with her former boyfriend Stefan and arch-nemesis Rebekah? And is a certain doppelganger making her return?
The CW has released two new promo posters that are not only typically hot and sexy, but also hold little hints as to what's to come.
The Vampire Diaries' Graham: Bonnie and Kol's run-in is one of her most intense scenes yet
Rebekah is back on The Vampire Diaries and her first target is Stefan and Elena.
On Thursday's episode (8/7c, the CW) Rebekah (Claire Holt) becomes undaggered and takes Stefan (Paul Wesley), Caroline (Candice Accola) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) hostage at the high school. Things only get more tense from there.
The Vampire Diaries' Rebekah is alive (again) and has gotten her hands on the coveted stake needed for the cure.
Defining The Vampire Diaries from A to Z
In the exclusive clip from Thursday's episode, Rebekah (Claire Holt) returns from her previously daggered state and sequesters Stefan (Paul Wesley), Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola) in the school to get more answers about their search for the vampire cure. And even though Stefan and Caroline are prepared for her arrival, Rebekah is, of course, one step ahead.
The Vampire Diaries' Klaus essentially put a target on his back by killing Mayor Lockwood. Nevertheless, Joseph Morgan says the baddie Original doesn't have a care in the world when the show returns from its holiday hiatus.
"In the episodes to come after break, there's a certain amount of him sitting with his feet up, looking at the carnage as it unfolds before him," Morgan tells TVGuide.com. "He's pulling the puppet strings and then letting them go to see what happens."
The Vampire Diaries' oldest set of siblings is going to experience more strife than ever before.
In one of the final scenes from this season's premiere, a distraught Rebekah (Claire Holt) confronted her brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) for choosing to save Caroline (Candice Accola) instead of her. When she further retaliated by smashing Klaus' blood bags, he threw her to the ground and said they were done. According to Morgan, that intense argument was only the beginning.
