Cillian Murphy Fast Facts:

Used to play guitar in a band called Sons of Mr. Greengenes.
Briefly studied law in college.
Made his stage debut in the play Disco Pigs (1996), and later starred in the 2001 movie version.
Breakout movie role was as a survivor of a zombie plague in Danny Boyle's 28 Days Later (2002); reunited with Boyle in 2007 for the sci-fi thriller Sunshine.
His film The Wind That Shakes the Barley (2005) was shot in his home town of Cork, Ireland.
Frequently works with Christopher Nolan, appearing in the director's Batman Begins (2005), The Dark Knight (2008) and Inception (2010).
