Man Up! Ratings meh! Last Man Standing? Nearly 3 million standing ... and walking away.
The debut of the ABC sitcom about three guys (Christopher Moynihan, Mather Zickel and Dan Folger) sussing out what it takes to be a modern man (and whether it includes using pomegranate body wash) grabbed 7.8 million viewers at 8:30/7:30c, posting a 2.4 rating among industry-prized 18-to-49-year-olds — third in its time slot by both measures. Reviews deemed the show insultingly bad.
At 8/7c, a week after Tim Allen's new sitcom debuted to 12.95 million viewers, the show had 10.20 million tuning back in — a 21 percent drop. It also garnered a 3.0 demo rating, down from 3.5 a week ago.
