Chris Harrison, The Bachelor
Chris Harrison told TVGuide.com that this week's episode of The Bachelor would have another "first" — and it did. Not only did Jake choose to send home both Ella and Kathryn on his two-on-one date, but he also decided to send an extra woman home during the rose ceremony. TVGuide.com spoke to Harrison about Jake "cleaning house" and how Tenley has become the front-runner...
On this week's episode of The Bachelor, Jake and the ladies take a road trip and more than a few women get left behind.
The first stop on the trip is to a vineyard in Santa Ynez, a fun and romantic spot for his one-on-one date with Gia. Vienna's mean side rears her ugly head as she predicts Gia's big city personality won't be able to tough it out in the vineyard. Vienna is more than wrong, as Gia and Jake click right from the start. After a very cheesy game of hide-and-seek, they play a slightly less cheesy game of spin-the-bottle and share a romantic night in front of the campfire. Gia and Jake hadn't spent a lot of time alone up to this time, but there seems to be lots of chemistry and Jake is more than happy to give her a rose at the end of the night.
Thanks to the scandalous affair between a contestant and a staff member, this season of The Bachelor has already been a bumpy, dramatic ride. And it seems things are just getting started. As the passion heats up and the number of ladies vying for Jake Pavelka's heart decrease, we talked with the Bachelor himself about breaking protocol on Monday's episode, the in-fighting between ladies in the house and his take on Rozlyn's relationship with one of the show's producers...
This week's Bachelor episode had another surprising exit when Jake asked Michelle to leave while on the group date. Host Chris Harrison chatted with TVGuide.com about Jake's no game-playing attitude, why next week's rose ceremony will feature another Bachelor first, and how Harrison is 200 percent sure the pilot will never bungee-jump again.
Mickey Rourke showed off his fashion sense by wearing gator-skinned lapels and a cowboy hat on the Golden Globes red carpet. TV Guide Network's Chris Harrison caught up with Rourke to find out how his life has changed in the past year and what it was like filming the upcoming Iron Man sequel.
