I want to start this blog with a little homage to Patrick Swayze. I know a lot has been written and said since his death Monday afternoon. I will just add this, Point Break, Roadhouse... thanks Patrick.
I wasn't sure how the TVGuide.com blog thing would work, but I love that you can leave your comments below. I agree with those of you that love Jon Cryer and, yes, the duck man will always live on. Jon really is a great guy, and you might be surprised to find that he's a pretty darn good athlete. I did the Malibu Triathlon with him last year, and he whipped my butt.

I'm very excited it's Emmy week, but I do have to admit I have a little hitch in my giddy-up (sorry for the Texas slang). Sunday, I took part in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, so as long as I don't have to run up the red carpet this week I'm good. A quick thanks to all my friends on team Disney and a big thanks to all those that raised money for Children's Hospital. This has become one of my favorite events of the year and I'm already looking forward to next year.

The host/matchmaker has paired with Dancing with the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba to anchor TV Guide Network's red carpet coverage, starting with September's Emmy Awards. TV Guide Network has signed Chris Harrison and Carrie Ann Inaba to anchor its live red carpet coverage, beginning with the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards in September, the network announced Wednesday.
Harrison, host of ABC's The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, and Inaba, a judge on the ABC's Dancing With the Stars, will also star in other award-show related programming for TV Guide Network.

I wasn't sure whether to recap this week's women-tell-all episode, because it had kind of a potluck feel: Taking a break from the drama unfolding between Jason, Molly, and Melissa, the show looked back on some past seasons and the unbelievable (read: not unbelievable) antics that haven't made it into this arc's regular episodes.
