Fifteen-year-old Mike would rather be traveling to the farthest galaxies of outer space than living under the shadow of his mother's serious depression or riding the subway into Manhattan each week to be analyzed by her shrink. In his travels Mike refuses to connect with anyone including his psychiatrist. But when an exuberant and irrepressible Herbie armed with a toy steering wheel climbs aboard Mike's train, all that changes. First embarrassed, then amazed, Mike watches as Herbie takes over the train's front window on his mission to deliver its passengers to their destinations. Seeing Herbie inspires Mike to break free, to look outside the window to the road ahead and take charge of his own life. watch

After the September 11th attacks, our world went through some dramatic changes. We have wars and terror in Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon, Iraq and various states in Africa. The USA and Europe are scared to loose the leadership of the planet to China and India. Muslim fanatics and fundamentalists are gaining enough power to destroy our security and freedom. The American and European people are heavily swayed by the mass media that is supporting the USA strategy of resolving these threats through war. We have quickly developed an innate self-censorship in order to survive this crazed and fragile state of existence. People are now afraid to speak their mind for fear of repercussions. If Bin Laden is a crazed fanatic, mass murderer, are we to assume that George Bush is a wonderful leader? If Moslems are perceived as terrorists, then are all Christians and Jews doing the right thing? The world is in need of a film that is tougher in it's humorous mockery of the globe than "SOUTH PARK". A religious charlatan (Foley), his mild mannered nephew (Ward) and a gang of bosomy commandos face off against Osama bin Laden and the Taliban in an epic battle that will determine the fate of the world in POSTAL, the latest film from controversial director Uwe Boll ( BloodRayne ). Boll roasts an entire herd of sacred cows and smashes taboos to smithereens in this over-the-top and hilariously subversive critique of modern day America. Inspired by the notorious videogame of the same name, POSTAL is a jaw-droppingly original spoof of contemporary culture and an equal opportunity offender, lampooning religious extremists, minorities, bureaucrats, immigrants, cops, women, the Holocaust, gun nuts and more with evenhanded abandon.

Postal is crude, raw, grossly funny and based on the popular videogame of the same name. The film also pushes the boundaries of good taste and all that is politically, morally and socially correct as if it were a live-action South Park. Unemployed and frustrated, Dude (Zack Ward) is intent on finally making some money and running away from the hell hole that has become his life. In his feeble attempt to get back on track, he reluctantly joins his uncle Dave (Dave Foley) in a get-rich-quick scheme involving the stealing and reselling of the scarce but highly sought after OKrotch-y-Dolls, the must-have toy of the season. In outrageous tribute to the videogame, writer/director Uwe Boll ensures that Postal holds true to its trailer-trash origins: offensive dialogue, random violence and inane, wildly comedic characters that will surely want to make all comers go "postal."
