Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne
Awards and performances may have been the main attraction at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night, but there were also plenty of eyebrow-raising moments (sometimes literally) behind the scenes as well. Fortunately, vigilant social media users were on hand to capture all of the crazy happenings and immortalize them online. Here are the five wackiest moments from the awards, in GIF form:
Add Ryan Seacrest to the list of celebrities who've been victims of a "swatting" prank — where jokesters call 911 to report a (fake) incident and have officers sent to the celeb's home.
In Seacrest's case, the caller said armed men were shooting their way into Seacrest's home in Beverly Hills Wednesday afternoon, CNN reports. Police arrived and left after speaking with the American Idol host.
Chris Brown stopped by the Today show Monday to promote his new single, but, as usual, it was his relationship with Rihanna that dominated the conversation.
Chris Brown, Rihanna

Paris Hilton is the latest celebrity to fall victim to the prank fad known as "swatting," in which a SWAT team is deployed to a celebrity's home as the result of a hoax phone call on the part of practical jokers.
Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez

Jimmy Fallon, Michelle Obama
This week, the Oscars happened! Host Seth MacFarlane's opening monologue, which featured the musical number "We Saw Your Boobs," sent lots of people into a tizzy, and Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence gave a backstage press conference that charmed the masses. First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and taught everyone the nuances of "mom dancing," and a basketball cheerleader sunk a you-have-to-see-it-to-believe-it shot from half court.
