Did you know that buried in Chris Brown's "Forever" single is a reference to the classic chewing-gum jingle for Doublemint? According to the Wall Street Journal, "Forever" is an extended version of the Doublemint jingle that Brown was commissioned to write as Wrigley strives to update its image. One thing's for certain, this kid really knows how to work a pack of gum!
We're big Chris Brown fans here, but despite how much he rocked the plaza on the Today show last Friday, we couldnt help but chuckle through the whole thing. Not only did his bodyguard get a little overzealous smacking the teen girls hands away around the minute mark, but seeing Lester, Ann and Al rock out while singing "I need you, Boo" at the end was priceless! Paula Abdul by Sam Jones/Fox
Times like this, I don't miss our office being a stone's throw from 30 Rock. NBC has announced the lineup for Today's annual concert series, and the tourists first will be amassing to catch Paula Abdul in action, on April 25. Neil Diamond picks up the baton the following Friday, followed by Mary J. Blige, a "surprise reunion concert" (the Partridges, dare I hope?) and Alanis Morisette. The B-52s, somewhat appropriately, mark Memorial Day with a May 26 performance, then cede the stage to Donna Summer. June brings on Chris Brown, Kenny Chesney, Rihanna and Coldplay, while July features Ashlee Simpson (or a facsimile thereof), Rascal Flatts, Natasha Bedingfield and one Miss Miley Cyrus.Standing space is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis at Rockefeller Plaza. So, which of these acts might drag you into our fair city? MWM
Pickler: "But like...I thought Europe was a country."
Is Kellie Pickler Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?Unless she's really good playing dumb, we're gonna have to say no, she's not. In a recent appearance on the hit game show, the country singer was asked what European country Budapest was capital of (which, mind you, left her baffled, considering she thought Europe was a country). When she found out the correct answer, she didn't even, like, know Hungary was a country. Turkey she's heard of, but Hungary, not so much. Good thing for her charity, she trusted her fifth-grade teammate.Watch it now!Paris Hilton Wants to be a Mommy?During a recent one-on-one interview with Ellen, Paris Hilton revealed her secret desire on national television. Ben McKenzie and Rachel Bilson, The O.C.
With Mischa Barton's Marissa gone, graduation over, and Kaitlin Cooper back in Newport for good, can The O.C. remain as juicy and scandalous as ever? You bet it can. With Marissa's death and everyone dealing with it in their own way, there's plenty of room for relationship turmoil, new story lines, and guest stars to stir the pot.
When Season 4 premieres (Thursday, Nov. 2, at 9 pm/ET, on Fox; now streaming at MySpace.com), the twisted O.C. family is displaced and obviously changed five months after the season finale's fatal accident. With the very first glimpses of Ryan, it's hard not to think back to his Chino days, and with Summer starting her first semester at Brown University, things for the fake-tan-loving freshman have cl
