D.L. Hughley, Cheryl Burke
Cheryl Burke found one thing to be positive about after she and D.L. Hughley received a dismal score of 12 on last week's Dancing with the Stars premiere: There was no elimination. "Otherwise it would've been pretty obvious who was going home!" she tells TVGuide.com. "That would've been a really boring results show." The pair will get a shot to redeem themselves Monday (8/7c, ABC) with their quickstep, on which Burke says Hughley is "working really, really hard." So what went wrong with their cha-cha? And what does she think about that 12? Keep reading to find out.

Cheryl Burke and Emmitt Smith
Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke didn't top the leader board on Dancing with the Stars last week, but she thinks their sassy samba, which scored a 29, was just what the doctored ordered. "I think we're peaking at the right time," Burke tells TVGuide.com. "Now we're in the middle of the season, so you really have to start stepping it up to get over that hump and try to make the finals." The two, who won Season 3 together, have the foxtrot this week and a group dance with the rest of the cast for Country Week. Find out what they have in store. Gilles Marini and Peta Murgatroyd
Peta Murgatroyd and Gilles Marini could barely contain their excitement last week when they found out their Team Freestyle song on Dancing with the Stars is PSY's "Gangnam Style" — so much so that they had to double-check. "I couldn't believe it," Murgatroyd tells TVGuide.com. "It was too perfect, so I had to make sure. We were thrilled, as you saw." The defending champ is also thrilled with their team, which includes boyfriend Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kirstie Alley, Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkvoskiy, and Emmitt Smith and Cheryl Burke, Marini's former partner. So what can we expect from their team dance and their individual rumba? Keep reading!
Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff
They're not newcomers — the 13 Dancing With The Stars: All-Stars contestants have been to this rodeo before. You wouldn't expect them to be all that nervous, but on Monday's season premiere, they were.
So nervous that Joey Fatone says he panicked a little when he found out that he and partner Kym Johnson would be dancing first. "It was so nerve-wracking," says Fatone. "When you're first out of the gate, there's a level of expectation. And you hope that you meet that expectation, but literally, today, I was thinking, 'What did I get myself into again?'"

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff
What was the first thing that went through Apolo Anton Ohno's mind when he learned he might be paired with Karina Smirnoff on Dancing with the Stars All-Stars?
"I went, 'Hmm. She's amazing, but isn't she really crazy?' I really did say that," Ohno tells TVGuide.com. "And the best part is, this was the exact answer: 'Yes, but she has a heart of gold and she's amazing. And we think you two will have really great chemistry.'"
