In a rain-swept Birmingham, England, a young French woman remembers the light of Marseille, and the troubles that led to her break up with her home sweep through her mind. She shares a claustrophobic life with her English artist boyfriend. He too is frustrated in work and lacks confidence. Their relationship has intimacy but an underlying silence and tension, which builds to a climax. Isolated she begins a new friendship, and the idea of returning home grows. Violence breaks out. A decision is made - with an unexpected emotional outcome.
The woman is played by Veronique Leininger, her boyfriend by Martin Davies, her friend by Charlotte McKinney.
