The war is about to reach fever pitch on The Originals, but Klaus (Joseph Morgan) has an even bigger threat on his mind: his father.
As crazy things started happening on the other side, Klaus' dead evil stepfather Mikael (Sebastian Roche) managed to appear not only in Klaus' dreams, but also in the dreams of those connected to Klaus. In the final minutes of last week's episode, Mikael approached witch Davina (Danielle Campbell) with a way to take down Klaus once and for all.
The Originals' Cami is about to take desperate measures to save the only family she has left in New Orleans.
After her uncle Kieran (Todd Stashwick) was hit with a deadly curse, Cami (Leah Pipes) — one of the only humans on the show — believed she got a witch to reverse the spell. But after Klaus (Joseph Morgan) went and screwed that up, Cami will be forced to do anything she can to keep Kieran from dying.
The Originals' Rebekah and Klaus are about to go through living Hell.
At the end of the last episode, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) had been taken by the new band of witches, dead set on exacting their revenge. From the first minute of Tuesday's episode (8/7c, The CW), the two are in dire circumstances, separated, and being tortured. What unravels is not for the faint of heart.

Another Originals character bites the dust.
After a season of defying many of New Orleans' power players, Sophie Deveraux (Daniella Pineda) succumbed to the forces of the show's newest antagonist, Sophie's own niece, Monique (Yasmin Al Bustami). And Sophie wasn't her only target. By the end of the hour, Monique and her new band of crazy witches took Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) and left them trapped outside of the French Quarter.

So much for resurrecting the dead witches on The Originals.
On Tuesday's episode, the Mikaelsons, along with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), watched as Sophie (Daniella Pineda) slit Davina (Danielle Campbell)'s throat and then performed the harvest that was to be completed with the reaping and resurrect her and her fallen "chosen ones." Only the plan didn't work and Davina remained lifeless. However, something happened because in the final moments of the hour, three witches rose out of the cemetery and were greeted by Sabine aka Celeste, Elijah's witchy ex from the 1800s.
