The Walking Dead Season 4 Brings a "Smorgasbord of Threats" to Test Each Character

The Walking Dead has gone through some growing pains over the last three seasons. Under former showrunner Frank Darabont, some viewers complained that the story was lagging, while under other former showrunner Glen Mazzara, the breakneck speed arguably gave some people whiplash. That's not to say each chapter didn't have its own merits, but under new showrunner Scott Gimple, the fourth season will take a more nuanced look at the zombie apocalypse that will really get to the root of each character... read more

On the Set: Secrets of The Walking Dead's Killer New Season

In order to enter Andrew Lincoln's trailer on the Senoia, Georgia, set of The Walking Dead, you must first step on a Duck Dynasty welcome mat — not exactly the greeting you'd expect from the 40-year-old British graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The Walking Dead Postmortem: Robert Kirkman Defends Major Death, Teases Season 4

[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from Sunday's Season 3 finale of The Walking Dead. Read at your own risk!]

The Walking Dead shook things up again on Sunday's Season 3 finale by killing off another main character — and proving once and for all that the AMC series is unafraid to ax anyone, no matter what happened in the comics.

In this instance, it was Andrea (Laurie Holden), who became a polarizing character in the third season when she began literally sleeping with the enemy in the form of The Governor (David Morrisey) the charismatic leader of the supposedly idyllic town of Woodbury. (Of course, Andrea learned the hard way that The Governor is actually a sadist who rules the town with an iron fist.) Still, killing off one of the few original characters who is still alive in the comics is sure to get Dead fans talking until the series returns in October. To find out why the writers decided to kill off Andrea, TVGuide.com turned to executive producer Robert Kirkman, who also dishes on what's in store for Season 4... read more

The Walking Dead: Who's Going to Die Before Season 3 Ends?

Over the course of the last three seasons, The Walking Dead has found no shortage of characters to kill off, including its major players. This year alone, Dead has already axed Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and T-Dog (IronE Singleton). Now that The Governor (David Morrisey) is hellbent on making Michonne (Danai Gurira), Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Andrea (Laurie Holden) — the list goes on and on — pay, there are sure to be more casualties on the way. With the penultimate episode airing Sunday (9/8c, AMC), we take a look at the odds on which of our favorite characters could die before the season ends: read more
