Where to start? OK, I know. Princess Leia, editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet, who knew? Favorite-line honors go to the actor formerly known as William the Bloody: "Clark, there's no such thing as vampires." I know, we saw the line teased ad nauseum from the second last week's episode ended. I don't care. Loved it. What do you want? I'm easy. But TPTB did lay the Buffy shtick on a little thick didn't they? You know how Law & Order is known for being "ripped from the headlines"? Every once in a while Smallville gives us a 'sode that's ripped from other shows. You know what I'm talking about. Last year Lana got possessed by a 17th-century witch and then proceeded to turn Lois and Chloe into her buddy witches. It had Charmed written all over it, right down to the threesome's barely there Alyssa Milano get-ups. So this time we get a Tri-Psi sorority vampira named Buffy Sanders. Sanders. Not Summers. Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray
Ever since Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray announced the end of their five-month marriage, One Tree Hill fans have wondered how it will affect the actors' TV romance as Brooke and Lucas. "You know what, the writers aren't going to change the story lines," Bush tells the New York Daily News, breaking her silence for the first time about the divorce. "I told them not to. I don't ever want the show to be predicated on my personal life." As for working alongside Murray these days, she admits, "I'm not gonna lie and say it's easy. [But] it's my job, and I love my job." In related news, who knew Sophia Bush could work the word "predicated" so seam

Lost
OK, the scene between Chad Michael Murray and Sophia Bush getting all horned up on Brooke's couch had to be way uncomfy. And his "I'm the one for you" speech at the beach bonfire? Yikes. How many more of those are we going to see before the writers catch up to the crappy reality of the exes' allegedly "nonexclusive" marriage? Hopefully not as many as the brooding-Nathan bits because really, I won't stand for my Haley getting dumped on. Not telling her he was back from basketball camp, then feeding her the "move on" line? Poor form! Same with Peyton. I mean, sure it sucks that her druggie birth mom is trouble with a capital Laura Palmer, but there's no need to bitch out her father and friend. Seriously, girlfriend was nastier than rude-boy Adrian Grenier's fan snubs at the all-new TV Guide launch party. Unless it's the haircut that's bothering her, which is so silly because I'm loving it. I'm also totally loving that we may have a winner in the "Who Tried to

While the fate of their on-screen romance as Brooke and Lucas waits to be determined on One Tree Hill's Oct. 5 season premiere, Sophia Bush and Chad Michael Murray have decided to call it quits in real life, after five months of marriage. "This is a difficult and unfortunate situation," Bush said in a statement. "I am glad this is being resolved sooner rather than later." Um, if it had been resolved any sooner it would have interrupted the wedding reception.

[Editor's Note: The Teen Choice Awards were rebroadcast on Wednesday night on the TV Guide Channel.] I have to say right away, our TV Guide Channel kicked butt on the official red carpet two-hour preshow, and I'd state this even if I didn't work here. Kimberly Caldwell, Rosanna Tavarez and Chris Booker were awesome hosts and set the proper tone for Fox's awards show. Speaking of which…8:00 pm Gwen Stefani opens the show with her No. 1 hit "Hollaback Girl." Can I stress how much I love the original, unedited version and how much I detest the edited version? I know it's network TV, but why perform the song if it has to be edited? Sing "Rich Girl" or something else. All those "shhh" sounds go right through me. OK — got that off my chest.8:06 I said this about the MTV Movie Awards and I'll say it here. How does Andy Dick continue to get booked on these awards each year? So. Not. Funny.8:12 Jim Car

WB's One Tree Hill ended its first season with one soapy twist after another: Nathan and Haley got married, Lucas left town, Deb had an affair and Dan had a heart attack. Here, executive producer Mark Schwann gives TV Guide Online the scoop on what we can expect in Season 2. And we're not just talking about Chad Michael Murray's cute new buzz cut!TV Guide Online: Nathan and Haley getting married was quite a shock. Where do you go from there?Mark Schwann: I think the audience wants to know how Nathan and Haley's marriage is possible and what the decision-making [process] was. We'll meet her family in the first episode. Her father will be played by Huey Lewis. I think the audience loves Nathan and Haley, and wants to make sure [their marriage] is not being used as an excuse to cause friction in their relationship or break them up.
TVGO: Well, is it?Schwann: I've said all along, I'm a fan of the relationship. I think they're really
