Cate Blanchett Joins Ridley Scott's Robin Hood

Cate Blanchett is adding another classic role to her resume: Maid Marian.

The Oscar winner will star opposite Russell Crowe in director Ridley Scott's reimagining of Robin Hood, according to Variety. Blanchett replaces Sienna Miller, who exited the project late last year.

Finally, a departure from The Departed. The film-critics organizations from Utah and Oklahoma have each honored United 93 with their best-picture awards. The Sooners, however, named Martin Scorsese best director, while Utah gave that kudos to Children of Men's Alfonso Cuaron.
