Derek Hough, Ricki Lake
Carson Kressley is gone, leaving Ricki Lake one step closer to the Mirror Ball trophy. You'd think the woman would be fearless. You'd be wrong. Lake, 43, who had a highly successful syndicated talk show for 11 years — and did a documentary about giving birth at home to one of her two children — couldn't even enjoy making it through to next week's show on Dancing With the Stars, Broadway Week, because the next dance, the Quick Step, terrifies her.
Hope you had a great week! Thanks for voting for us!
I think Hope was amazing on Monday. It was probably a little more than I expected because she was a little distracted the last couple of games and her commitment to the national team, but she pulled it together and it was perfect. It clicked. I'm very happy about our score. It was exactly what I wanted. I like the three 7s. I wanted to be in the middle of the pack, but I didn't expect 21 to be second from the top, so it was a pleasant surprise.
I thought the scores overall were good. I think it's one of the more even first performances we've had. We don't have a ringer or somebody who's a professional dancer this season and the judges didn't go overboard with their scoring. I think this season is anybody's for the taking. I really think that there are probably four people I see at the end. I definitely think that Hope has the potential. She has the ability to go all the way. I'm hoping that we just keep clicking and keep doing the right things. I think the combination of my pushy personality and her ability to take the rehearsal "punishment" the right way and not get, I guess, offended is what's ...

Our top moments of the week:
14. Best Blast from the Past: Six years after attempting to cheat on her on How I Met Your Mother, Ted gets the shock of his life when he spots Miss Buttercup herself, Victoria (Ashley Williams), catering the Architects Ball. We know canonically that Victoria's not the mother, but she was among our favorites of Ted's girlfriends (and he's had a lot), so it's nice to see her again, even if her only purpose is to restore the jaded romantic's faith in romance.
13. Best First Dance: Who knew moves like Jagger involves rooster chest-puffing and...
Lacey Schwimmer, Chaz Bono
Security was exceptionally tight in the ballroom for the season premiere of ABC's Dancing With the Stars. Beefy guards were seated in the audience and stood, ready to take action, both before and after transgender activist Chaz Bono took to the floor with his partner, Lacey Schwimmer. "I didn't pay attention to any of it," Bono said after the show. "I just wanted to do a good job dancing."
Every star needs a Dancing pro. ABC has revealed the 12 pairs for Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars.

Hang on to your sequins and strappy sandals: The 13th season of Dancing With the Stars is unleashing a cast that would make the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus green with envy. Among them: a Kardashian, an L.A. Laker, George Clooney's sexy Italian ex, and the first transgender contestant, Chaz (formerly Chastity) Bono.
Tatum and Ryan O'Neal
The Oprah Winfrey Network will launch three new series starring Ryan and Tatum O'Neal, Naomi and Wynonna Judd, and Carson Kressley, the network announced Monday.

Callie Torres won't be belting a tune anytime soon on Grey's Anatomy — unless "one day we may have a musical episode," says Sara Ramirez — but folks in New York can catch the actress singing live Monday from the Broadway Takes the Runway benefit.
Ramirez will perform on behalf of The Al D. Rodriguez Foundation, an organization she launched to raise awareness for hepatitis and liver cancer. It is named after a late friend of the Grey's star.

Carson Kressley, How to Look Good Naked
After five seasons of keeping a queer eye on messy straight guys, Carson Kressley is turning his attention to the ladies for How to Look Good Naked (tonight at 9 pm/ET, Lifetime). The new makeover show offers women of all sizes tips for accepting their bodies, so we rang up the always-colorful Kressley to chat about his Naked ambition.
TV Guide: Why this show now? Carson Kressley: Because Drew Carey got The Price Is Right. [Laughs] No, when I saw [the U.K. version of Naked], I thought, "Wow, I'd get to do something I always wanted to do — women's makeovers — and help people feel good about themselves." It's a little less superficial.
TV Guide: And it's really emotional. Kressley: There were times, growing up gay, that I didn't love myself. So I
