Seth MacFarlane continues his animation domination: Fox has renewed Family Guy and The Cleveland Show, the network announced Monday.
"For nine seasons, our viewers have been cracked up, delighted, surprised and, at times, gloriously disturbed by the mind of Seth MacFarlane — and they keep coming back for more," Fox President of Entertainment Kevin Reilly said. "The Griffins and the Browns have become cornerstones of our Sunday nights, and we can't wait to find out what new adventures Seth, Mike and Rich cook up for them next season."

Not a great week for quirky crime-fighters. First FX gives the wonderful Terriers the boot, and now we come to the end of the line for Fox's genial but low-rated buddy-cop spoof. We will miss Bradley Whitford as gone-to-seed Dallas detective Don Stack, especially his bushy 'stache. The final episode brings back Gary Cole as Stark's legendary former partner, Frank Savage, and we also meet the ex-partner of Stark's sidekick Jack Bailey (Colin Hanks). Eddie Fisher, the 1950s pop singer and father of Carrie Fisher known for his high-profile Hollywood romances, has died. He was 82.
Fisher died Wednesday in his Berkely, Calif., home, from complications from hip surgery, his daughter, actress and singer Tricia Leigh Fisher, told The Associated Press.
