"Of course it worked, I'm Katherine Pierce."
In true Vampire Diaries fashion, the milestone 100th episode ended with a huge twist. Just moments away from death, Katherine (Nina Dobrev) decided to use the Travellers' spell on her doppelganger Elena allowing her to live another day.
Which of Elena's The Vampire Diaries kills made Nina Dobrev feel like a bad ass? Whose script does Kat Graham have framed? What moment from Season 2 does Candice Accola call epic? The stars of the CW drama are sharing these answers and more.
Death, love, heartbreak, flashbacks, body switches, resurrections — a lot has happened in 100 episodes of The Vampire Diaries.
When the CW series premiered in September 2009, viewers were introduced to protagonist Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), a journal-writing high school teen who had just lost her parents. Soon she fell for Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley), who she thought was the brooding new guy in school. In reality, he was a century-old vampire captivated by her, a girl who looked exactly like his one-time love, Katherine Pierce (Dobrev), who is also a vampire. Stefan had also just returned from his hometown of Mystic Falls where he reunited with his brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) after spending decades away.

Klaus Mikaelson is returning to Mystic Falls, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
The Originals' Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will cross over onto The Vampire Diaries for the first time since he exited the series in the Season 4 finale. As part of his goodbye — and in one of our favorite scenes of all time! — Klaus told Caroline (Candice Accola) that her boyfriend Tyler (Michael Trevino) was free to return to Mystic Falls. He then added, "He's your first love. I intend to be your last."
Well now that Tyler and Caroline have pretty much called it quits, has Klaus returned for another go at getting Caroline to give in to his love? Reps for CW and Warner Bros. TV had no comment.
