Wedding bells will be ringing on Grey's Anatomy this season!
When the cast of the ABC medical drama celebrated its 200th episode on Saturday night, executive producer Shonda Rhimes revealed to TVGuide.com that they're planning a wedding this season. Naturally, the first guess is that April (Sarah Drew) and Matthew (Justin Bruening) will be walking down the aisle since the duo patched things up in the premiere. Grey's Anatomy returns Thursday (9/8c, ABC) with a two-hour premiere that picks up just moments after the events of last season's finale, in which a super-storm ravaged the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Meredith and Derek will be celebrating the birth of baby Bailey, Callie and Arizona will be struggling with the latter's infidelity, and Cristina and Owen will once again be on the outs. What started off as an interweaving tale of a group of interns struggling to stay afloat at one of America's top hospitals has evolved over nine seasons, becoming a platform for stories deconstructing the human condition, including race, sexuality and — as with any great Shondaland series — relationships. But hitting its 10th season, as well as the 200-episode mark, does raise the question of how long Grey's can continue.
