An ailing security systems company is going down the drain when a young electronics genius invents C.H.O.M.P.S. - Canine Home Protection System. His invention is a robot dog, powerful and vicious when activated, which he hopes will stop a crime wave and help him win the security system owner's daughter.

Judy (Anita Sands) is only 17, but she and her older boyfriend, Steve (Ron Foster), are in love and ready to marry. Risking the wrath of Judy's parents, the couple elopes. But mom and dad turn out to be the least of their problems. It's Judy's insanely jealous ex-boyfriend, Chuck (Chris Robinson), who's enraged and wants revenge, setting up a spellbinding confrontation with Steve in this 1959 cult classic.
