Thanks to hits like The Avengers, Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol and The Bourne Legacy, 2012 saw Jeremy Renner catapult from Oscar nominee and rising star to bona fide action star. So it's only fitting that for his first time hosting Saturday Night Live, the show put his leading man skills to very good use.

In a spoof of The Avengers, Renner reprises his role as Hawkeye. But this time there's a slight problem — he's used up all of his 11 arrows already. Jersey Shore Cast to Reunite for Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser

The Jersey Shore cast is reuniting for a Hurricane Sandy fundraiser that will be broadcast live on MTV later this month. Seaside Heights, where several episodes of the show have been filmed, was one of the hardest-hit areas during last week's storm.

Friday's telethon to benefit the victims of Hurricane Sandy raised nearly $23 million, NBCUniversal and the American Red Cross report.

"We are incredibly grateful and humbled by this outpouring of support for those who are suffering as a result of Superstorm Sandy," American Red Cross Chief Marketing Officer Peggy Dyer said in a statement.
