Nirvana, KISS and Cat Stevens Among Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees

NirvanaKISS and Cat Stevens are among the acts who will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year, the organization announced Tuesday.

They will be joined by Hall and OatesPeter Gabriel and Linda Ronstadt at theApril 10 ceremony at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Jersey boy Bruce Springsteen and his E Street Band got 12.12.12: The Concert for Sandy Relief off to a rollicking start Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden with a poignant opening set that included "Land of Hopes and Dreams," "Wrecking Ball" and "My City of Ruins."

The concert  donated 100 percent of its proceeds to the Robin Hood Relief Fund, a large-scale relief effort launched specifically to aid people in the tri-state area whose lives were impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Clarence Clemons, Sax Player for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Dies at 69

Clarence Clemons, the longtime saxophone player for Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band, has died. He was 69.

Clemons — also known as the "Big Man" — died Saturday from complications of a stroke he suffered a week earlier at his home in Singer Island, Fla. He had been in serious but stable condition and underwent two surgeries.

"Clarence lived a wonderful life. He carried within him a love of people that made them love him. He created a wondrous and extended family.
