Kiefer Sutherland's widely reported scrap with a fashion designer in New York City could violate the terms of his DUI probation in Los Angeles, a prosecutors' spokesman tells TVGuide.com.
New York police are investigating a complaint from designer Jack McCollough, who says Sutherland head-butted him at a party and who was spotted Wednesday with a cut on his nose. No charges have been filed, but New York's Daily News reported Wednesday that the actor will surrender in the next few weeks to face a third-degree assault charge.

After months of speculation, Lipstick Jungle is officially canceled, according to star Brooke Shields.
"It was going to stay and we just were officially told it's finally not coming back," Shields, who played movie exec Wendy Healy, told E! "I think a lot of people were really sad, but I think we hung on a really long time. It was three great years that we've been working on it."
NBC has not officially announced the show's cancellation, but a source confirmed Shields' version of the story.

Stirring up so much confusion that the paps didn't know which way to shoot, Adrian Grenier joined them on Thursday to hunt down the likes of Eva Longoria, Mario Lopez and Brooke Shields. Ostensibly on the prowl for footage for his alleged, upcoming Untitled Paparazzi Documentary, Grenier got on the other side of the camera to join the throngs of photogs in West Hollywood. The scene, from the looks of clips on ET, was comical, and Grenier got laughs from Longoria and Shields.At one point, Grenier got serious with his temporary coworkers who were photographing him, saying, "You guys are distracting me. I'm trying to find celebrities." His doc, according to several databases, purports to "study the relationship between celebrities and the paparazzi and how they can't survive without each other." Brooke Shields may be the model of decorum, but her mother is letting loose about her views on her star daughter in an upcoming interview, MSNBC reports. While Teri Shields was already a controversial figure in the 1970s and '80s, she's now reprising her role with a tell-all interview in the National Enquirer. In the piece, she expresses disappointment with her daughter, their relationship and with Brooke's husband, Chris Henchy. "I wish I could see Brooke," Teri says, "but all she does is work.... But (she) always makes time to visit her friends, no matter how busy she is."Teri also blames Henchy for his effect on Brooke's behavior. "I'm often disappointed in [Brooke]," Teri says in the interview, "like the times she snaps: 'What do you ever do for me?' That's what her husband tells her to say."
