In "Family," the Circle will finally have to confront John Blackwell (Joe Lando) about his true motivations, which means Cassie (Britt Robertson) will have a big decision to make: side with her Circle family or her blood family. Meanwhile, the Circle will also race to save Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) from the Witch Hunters. Plus: The Crystal Skull will finally be put together! Your head spinning yet? It's a lot to take in, which is why TVGuide.com turned to executive producer Andrew Miller to get the scoop on the finale. Check it out:
The Secret Circle's coven has followed one mantra for pretty much the entire season: Stick together! That's because if they don't, their magic doesn't work, the downside to binding their circle.
The Secret Circle Scoop: Nick is back, but what does that mean for the Circle?
Chris Zylka and Phoebe Tonkin
"Nick is back in a big way," Chris Zylka warns.
Way to understate the obvious! First, The Secret Circle spent time introducing us to the new coven members who would help Cassie (Britt Robertson) discover her magic, only to then kill one of the series' supposed main characters off in the fifth episode. Nick (Louis Hunter) was then replaced by his older, more brooding brother Jake (Zylka), who eventually went from working with the Witch Hunters to against them.

Now, it seems, Nick has been resurrected to track down the remaining crystal and thwart the Circle's attempts at combining them to create the sure-fire weapon against the Witch Hunters, the Crystal Skull. How will the Circle feel about Nick's return? For Jake, it may not be a happy reunion. "Jake's going to...

The other Balcoin child on The Secret Circle has finally been revealed!
Upon learning that John Blackwell (Joe Lando) had fathered another witch in the Circle, the odds on it being Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) were favorable, especially considering her mother's crush on Blackwell and Faye's own affinity for the darker side of magic. But it was innocent Diana (Shelley Hennig) who turned out to be Cassie's (Britt Robertson) half-sister. Twist!

The grim reaper will be paying a visit to Chance Harbor on The Secret Circle.
Now that John Blackwell (Joe Lando) has returned to town, the circle is in even more danger. And by the end of Thursday's episode, there will be with yet another death. (RIP, Nick) This week's outing also marks the reunion of Dawn (Natasha Henstridge) and Blackwell, who seem awfully friendly in the promos. Could Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) by the mysterious other Balcoin child? TVGuide.com turned to executive producer Andrew Miller to get the scoop:
As if Cassie Blake wasn't in enough trouble already, The Secret Circle's newest witch will be spending Valentine's Day with a few extra, ahem, people around.
The Secret Circle Scoop: Diana's new love, John Blackwell's arrival and the Balcoin child
While Faye (Phoebe Tonkin) and Melissa (Jessica Parker Kennedy) are tempting Diana (Shelley Hennig) with "Devil's Spirit" at their anti-Valentine's Day slumber party, Cassie (Britt Robertson) will turn to Adam (Thomas Dekker) and Jake (Chris Zylka) for help after the daughter of John Blackwell becomes haunted by the spirits of some vengeful witches — and by the looks of the clip below, those spirits are seriously powerful...
Damn, girls! Or should we say, damned girls?
For many fans of The CW's supernatural soaps The Vampire Diaries and The Secret Circle, the leading ladies are what's what.
Who is John Blackwell's other child in The Secret Circle's coven?
While both audiences and cast wait with bated breath to find out, Circle's Shelley Hennig thinks the idea of good-girl Diana turning out to be the other Balcoin child would finally explain Diana's mysterious connection to Cassie (Britt Robertson). TVGuide.com pumped Hennig for scoop on who the other Balcoin child could be, as well as the arrival of Cassie's seemingly evil father, John Blackwell (Joe Lando). Plus: Sorry, Adam (Thomas Dekker), but Diana's getting a new love interest!
Britt Robertson and Chris Zylka
The Secret Circle's witch-turned-witch hunter Jake has finally returned.
In the midseason finale, Nick's older brother ran off with the Witch Hunters, who had tried to kill Cassie (Britt Robertson) and her circle. Though Jake (Chris Zylka) was initially working with the hunters to take down the circle, he fell for Cassie. And that means he won't be too happy to see her in the arms of Adam (Thomas Dekker) when he returns.
