It's been a rough road lately for FlashForward's characters. Mark (Joseph Fiennes) has officially moved out of the family home, Demetri (John Cho) is getting closer to solving his supposed murder, and Aaron's (Brian F. O'Byrne) daughter has been captured. But one of the series' darkest moments came in the final minutes of last week's episode, when it was revealed that baby-crazy agent Janis Hawk is the mole leaking information about the Mosaic task force's investigation. How did this happen? How does this affect her flash-forward? And above all else, why, Janis, why? Christine Woods, the actress who plays the Mosaic team's newest threat, spoke with TVGuide.com about all that and more.
TVGuide.com: When did you first find out that Janis was a mole?
Christine Woods: I think some of the fans are actually thinking that it feels kind out of the blue and like a last-minute decision, but it's definitely been in the works for a very long time. I've known for a little bit of time that this was eventually going to be an element of the direction of Janis' story.

Tony-winning Celt Brian F. O'Byrne is on board for the second season of Showtime's acclaimed Brotherhood, premiering in the fall. O'Byrne, who grabbed his Tony for Frozen (and also netted a nod for Doubt), will play Colin Carr, a cousin of the Caffree brothers who gets embroiled in Michael's criminal world. Also per Showtime, Cybill Shepherd and Marlee Matlin will be back for The L Word's fifth season (unspooling in January 2008), while Rose Rollins will return as Iraq-war vet Tasha; David Morrissey's Meadowlands premieres June 17; Weeds Season 3 begins in August; and Dexter Season 2 arrives in the fall.
