Legendary Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre announced his retirement Tuesday. Favre played 17 seasons and was named league MVP three times. He led the Packers to the Super Bowl in 1996 and 1997, winning it all in '96. This past season he set NFL career records for passing touchdowns (442), passing yards (61,655) and wins by a starting QB (160).In a voice mail to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, the 38-year-old Favre said, "I know I can still play, but it's like I told my wife, I'm just tired mentally. I'm just tired."
