There will be damage. The Grimm season finale saw a zombified Nick (David Giuntoli) being shipped off to Europe in a coffin — presumably to become a pawn in the Royal Families' quest for world domination —but don't expect some quick fix or a fast rescue by his Scooby Gang when the NBC series returns (Friday, Oct. 25 at 9/8c). "If Nick does survive this zombie state, he's going to be very dangerous," says executive producer Jim Kouf. "There will be residual effects that will change him in a huge way."
TV Guide Magazine has your exclusive first look at Giuntoli in zombie-mode, created by makeup artist Barney Burman, an Oscar winner for J.J. Abrams's Star Trek.
In other Season 3 scoop, back home, the still-clueless Sergeant Wu (Reggie Lee) sees too much in his first direct encounter with a Wesen and goes a bit psycho. Hank (Russell Hornsby) falls deeply for his physical therapist — also a Wesen — and her folks don't like it one bit.
But there's even bigger romantic news! Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) will wed Rosalee (Bree Turner) and they, too, will be plagued by meddling parents. "When you marry someone, you marry their family," notes executive producer David Greenwalt. "Monroe's mother and father are old-school Blutbads — they may still even hunt, for all we know — and they think Fuchsbau like Rosalee are for eating, not for settling down with." Just wait until Mom and Dad find out their son's best friend is a Grimm!
