Formed Incubus in 1991 with 10th-grade classmates Mike Einziger, Alex Katunich and José Pasillas.
Made his studio debut with Incubus' first album, Fungus Amongus (1995).
Incubus' 1999 commercial breakthrough, Make Yourself, went double platinum, despite never rising above No. 47 on the Billboard charts.
Has published several books of his artwork, poems and journal entries, including White Fluffy Clouds and From the Murks of the Sultry Abyss.
Helped create a limited-edition line of TOMS sneakers based on his artwork.
