Having discovered Peter’s room empty, Ken’s worried Peter might have done a moonlight flit. Amy reckons Ken’s obsessed with Peter which amuses Tracy.
Michelle calls at No.1 and in front of Ken and Tracy, hands Peter an envelope containing Carla’s wedding ring. When Anna phones Tim, Tim’s flustered and pretends it’s just a mate who wants some help moving flats.
As Ken and Amy excitedly plan a party tea for Peter’s home-coming, Tracy suggests they could give him her wedding cake and Ken’s concerned for her.
Peter pleads with Carla to give him 5 minutes and hear what he’s got to say. Realising Peter’s not going to take no for an answer, Michelle tells them to use the Rovers back room.
After a sleepless night, Tracy feels terrible knowing she’s betrayed the man she loves. Ken assures her she did the right thing reporting Rob to the police.
As Todd lies bruised, battered and semi-conscious, a passer-by calls an ambulance. Feeling guilty for standing him up, Eileen tries to phone Todd but there’s no reply.
At No.1 Tracy packs some things into a holdall ready for her getaway with Rob. Rob settles his bill and prepares to leave the B&B. When Eileen studiously ignores Todd, Roy offers him some advice and suggests it’s time he ended the rift with family.
Tracy’s inconsolable and tells Ken her life’s a disaster and Amy might be better off living with Steve. Ken assures her things will get better.
Rob opens the door to find Tracy standing there. Rob’s stunned and slapping him in the face, Tracy marches into the bedroom.
Tracy and Amy pose for photos outside the wedding venue. Carla leads Rob to a side room and admits she’s told the police everything. Rob’s devastated and accuses Carla of choosing Peter over her own brother.
As the shocked guests look on, Tracy is manhandled into a police car and a police helicopter circles overhead searching for Rob. Michael explains his condition to Gail and how they will treat it with drugs.
