Became obsessed with music at a young age, with the Captain and Tennille being her earliest musical influence at age 4.
Acted in school and community theater productions in her youth.
Was discovered while waiting tables in New York City by a modeling scout, which led to assignments in the U.S. and Europe.
Moved to Los Angeles when she was 22 and formed a band.
After small parts on network series, she landed a lead role in the 1999 TV movie Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story, as a 1950's rock singer.
Has appeared on four series produced by Darren Star: Beverly Hills, 90210; Grosse Pointe; Kitchen Confidential; and Cashmere Mafia.
Played Ross's girlfriend, Mona, on Friends during the show's 8th season.
