On Tuesday's episode (8/7c, CBS), we may just find out. During the hour, aptly titled "The Namesake," Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will once again cross paths with Leroy Jethro Moore (guest star Billy Dee Williams), the man after whom Gibbs was named.

Going into NCIS' 10th season, you'd think we've learned all there is to know about Mark Harmon's Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Think again. As I reported last week, an October episode will introduce Star Wars vet Billy Dee Williams as Gibbs' namesake.
NCIS is getting a new Leroy Jethro — who'll look a lot like Lando Calrissian! Don't worry, TV's top series isn't replacing uber popular lead Mark Harmon in his role. Rather, Star Wars veteran Billy Dee Williams will appear as another Leroy Jethro — who Leroy Jethro Gibbs was named for. In an October episode, Williams will play LJ, a World War II veteran and close friend of the Gibbs clan.
What a difference eight years makes. Back then, White Collar's con-man extraordinaire Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer) was a little more blue collar, FBI agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay) was itching to collar him, and street swindler Mozzie (Willie Garson) wore a piece. And we don't mean a gun.
"I remember walking past the hair and makeup room and seeing Willie in a different toupee every time and just dying laughing," says Bomer. "My favorite was the 'Shaggy' look from Scooby Doo."
But tonight's White Collar episode — which flashes back to 2003 — explores deeper roots than Mozzie's.
