One Tree Hill star Austin Nichols says that fans are constantly asking him if the show will be back for be another season, and although an official announcement hasn't been made yet, he's confident the show's creator is prepared.
"Mark [Schwahn] did the finale and I think he might've shot an alternate ending — one to tease another season and one to close off the show," Nichols, who plays Julian Baker, tells TVGuide.com.

"When we came back in Season 5, four years later in the characters' lives .... it was an exciting atmosphere not really knowing where my character would go, because he was in such a dark place, and [we didn't know] how the family unit was going to stay together," he says.
