Lisa Kudrow
[Warning: This story contains major spoilers from Thursday's episode of Scandal. Read at your own risk!]
Thursday's episode of Scandal introduced two new duos that should make for great TV: Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) and Huck (Guillermo Diaz) make up the best new bromance, while Mellie (Bellamy Young) and Josie Marcus (Lisa Kudrow) are now apparently enemies, which will make for an interesting campaign season.
Is Scandal's Huckleberry Quinn on the outs?
Let's start with...

Scandal
Once upon a very different time, Lisa Kudrow owned Thursday night along with her other TV Friends during NBC's now-distant era of "Must See" supremacy. She's back on the same night, on a different network, but once again she's landed on the buzziest show of the moment: ABC's Scandal (10/9c), where she begins a recurring role as Josephine Marcus, a Democratic Congresswoman — and outspoken critic of the Grant administration — who tangles with First Lady Mellie (the awesome Bellamy Young). What drew Kudrow back to network TV? May have something to do with her longtime friendship and working relationship with producing partner (and guest actor Emmy winner) Dan Bucatinsky, who plays Cyrus's excitable partner James on the show. While she's reason enough to tune in, the Pope & Associates subplot also sounds like fun, as they take on as a client a politician notorious for snapping photos of his unmentionables. (Sound familiar?)

Hotch will see dead people on Wednesday's Criminal Minds, but Thomas Gibson won't be watching — at least for now.
"It may be a little tough for me to watch with Haley and Foyet returning. It will be a while before I do," Gibson tells TVGuide.com. "Plus, I don't know how many people want to see the guy who killed their wife again!"
Bubble shows: Which will survive?
He may not want to, but Hotch will come face-to-face with George "The Reaper" Foyet (C. Thomas Howell) again on Wednesday's episode (9/8c, CBS), along with his late wife Haley (Meredith Monroe), whom, of course, The Reaper killed in the show's 100th episode before Hotch beat him to death. After collapsing at work due to complications ...

Being a reporter isn't always an easy job. But being an extra playing a White House reporter is definitely hard work.
I got my first taste of "stardom" in mid-August when I and a few other select real-life reporters were invited to be extras on Scandal. The ABC political fixer drama would be filming their second episode of the third season, which meant I may be able to find out what happens with Mistress-gate! I jumped at the opportunity, which would end up being one of the longest, yet enlightening nights of my life. The actual episode just aired Thursday, so there are spoilers ahead for those who haven't yet watched. Check out a timeline of my night as a Scandal extra:

It's Mistress-gate 2.0!

The White House briefing room is buzzing. A scandal is brewing — when isn't one on Scandal? — and the ever-ravenous press corps is waiting for President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) to make his entrance.
It's just like any other day on the set...except I was sitting in the second row. Why? A few real reporters were invited to play, well, reporters, and we were granted access for a doozy. The president was finally going to talk to the press about the rumors of his affair with our favorite fixer.
But before I got to grill the president, I had to pass inspection with the wardrobe team. My editor-in-chief business suit and professional pumps were begrudgingly approved, though costume designer Lyn Paolo wasn't thrilled with my de rigueur New York black. My mop of long, messy curls, however, was deemed a problem. "We're going to have to do something about this," said hairstylist Roberto Rangel as he ushered me into the makeup trailer.

They say all roads lead to Fitz (Tony Goldwyn), but when Scandal returns for its third season on Thursday (10/9c, ABC), all roads lead to Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington).
