Mega Buzz on NCIS, 90210, Ghost Whisperer and More!

Cote de Pablo (NCIS), Jessica Lowndes (90210) and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer)

Senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich and Mickey O'Connor answer your questions. As always, you may direct your own spoilery needs to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

Is Ziva's father going to make a return on NCIS this season? — Morgan
Matt:
My moles at the CBS hit may be tight-lipped about the Ziva-Tony romance (a very popular topic in the Buzz box), but on this matter they did let slip some intel: Eli David, played by Michael "What a Feeling" Nouri, will be seen again, and possibly before the end of this season.

The gay character on 90210 has to be the guy who starred in the musical with Annie. He's tall, handsome, well-dressed and —mannered, and he loves musical theater ... hello! — Jason

'Signature'

Well at least Mariska didn't look as orange this week so that's good but when Erika Christensen introduced herself as a Special Agent with the F.B.I. I had to smile. She looks like a kid to me. And maybe even worse...she sounds like one. Now the Traffic and Swimf@n star is 25 years old so I guess its possible for her to run an investigation in the hunt for the serial killer The Woodsman...no wait...it just seems kind of dumb. Tell me: am I alone here? Does everyone on this show HAVE to be young and beautiful?? That scene at the strip club was just embarrassing. I don't think the owner could have been any more stereotypical. Asking if she "wanted to get her freak on"...What? For the second time this season I thought I was watching a bad 70's TV series. Something is seriously a bit off this year since I never feel that way watching the reruns.A stylistic change I've also noticed this year is the use of voice overs. In this case we hear Dr. Huang describing the killer's prof... read more

Simmons, about the show's success and its possible move to the fall battlegrounds, while also seeking out some scoop on Spider-Man 3.

TVGuide.com: I'm looking at this scene shot of you in the new TV Guide, and you're curling dumbbells that are, what, 30, 40 lbs. each?
J.K. Simmons:
I think those dumbbells were 80 lbs. [total]. I always do half [re read more
