The Associated Press' official Twitter account was hacked Tuesday, the organization confirmed.
Shortly after 1 p.m. ET, the account tweeted out a false report saying that there had been two explosions at the White House and President Barack Obama was injured. The AP's account has since been suspended.

Just hours after Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick lifted the city-wide lockdown on Boston, the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings was found and taken into custody.
