High School Musical 3: Senior Year
There's a Rockettes-style line of dancers, 99 extras in elaborate costumes and a giant Statue of Liberty head that shoots confetti. No, this isn't a hallucination. This is High School Musical 3: Senior Year. And it's the third and final day of shooting for a dance number called "I Want It All." Set in the famous cafeteria where Broadway-loving sibs Sharpay and Ryan sang "Stick to the Status Quo" in the first film, the place has been transformed into a mini–Times Square.
"We've come pretty far from a black stage and a gold ladder," marvels Lucas Grabeel, who plays drama-club president Ryan. "It's stepped up to a whole new level for the theatrical release."

Those Disney tween machines are at it again! High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens has just released her latest video for her new single, "Sneaker Night," off her forthcoming album Identified. High School Musical "senior" Ashley Tisdale this week was targeted by a sophomoric prank, as an online site or two spread a rumor that the starlet had been diagnosed as HIV-positive. "The story is completely untrue," says Tisdale's rep, Scott Appel. The false tale claimed that Tisdale contracted HIV through her recent rhinoplasty procedure, and even was "backed up" by a bogus statement from Cedars-Sinai saying, "Ashley and her family are trying to come to terms with this horrible development. They only ask that you pray for Ashleys health and to please respect their privacy." A spokesperson for the medical center denies issuing any such statement. — Matt Mitovich

If you just can't "get'cha head [out of the High School Musical game," you're in luck. All the main characters actually graduate. Otherwise, why would they all be in gowns?2. Ashley Tisdale's character, Sharpay Evans, makes up for not having a prom date (bringing her brother might not be appropriate) by buying a pink sparkly gown for graduation.3. There are no major social schisms at least, none that aren't repaired before the show's final, group number since they're all smiling together, mid-air, after surviving four years at East High.We always knew that East High was a special place, with few of the problems that can plague...
