A poll conducted by the magazines The New York Dog and The Hollywood Dog names songstress Joss Stone the best celebrity dog owner and Paris Hilton the worst. The mags lauded Stone, who has a poodle named Dusty Springfield, for helping pets orphaned by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and lambasted the Simple Life swizzle stick for ditching Tinkerbell for a cuter pooch, then cuddling with a ferret and then a monkey. Ashley Olsen almost stole the top honor from Stone, until it was realized that her mixed-breed was actually her hair.
